In criminal defense, winning one battle can result in winning the war.
”-- Richard HornsbyWhether you're a first time offender or a repeat offender, I will fight to obtain the result you want.
Criminal cases are successfully challenged on constitutional, legal, or administrative grounds every day. And to successfully challenge your case, we must determine what defenses you may have available to you.
Common defenses in Florida criminal courts include:
- Motion to Suppress,
- Motion to Dismiss
- Trial by Jury
Once I have determined your best defense options, I can take then initiate the appropriate defensive actions to challenge your case.
The Benefit of Challenging Evidence
The State needs all of its evidence to prove a crime, prevent an appeal, and build a strong case for trial.
A successful defensive challenge can result in key evidence being thrown out or an outright dismissal of charges.
And if one link in the State's case is successfully challenged, resulting in key evidence being thrown out (suppressed), the State may be unable to prosecute you, or be forced to negotiate a deal that is favorable to you.
In criminal defense, winning one battle can result in winning the war.
