Sealing or Expungement Eligibility

Florida law allows you to seal or expunge your Florida criminal record history, including all non-judicial criminal agency (law enforcement) records and judicial records, related to one criminal episode, if you meet all of the below criteria:

  1. You have never obtained a previous sealing or expungement;
  2. You have never been adjudicated guilty of any criminal offense;
  3. You are not currently under any type of court supervision, which includes probation, house arrest, or pretrial release;
  4. You did not enter a plea of guilty or nolo contendere (No Contest) to an offense ineligible under Florida law to be sealed or expunged.

If you answered yes to all of the above questions you are eligible to have your record either sealed or expunged.
