Continuing Legal Education
The Florida Bar requires attorneys to continue their legal education throughout the period of their active practice of law.
Each member of the Florida Bar is required to complete a minimum of 30 credit hours of approved continuing legal education course work every 3 years. Five of the 30 hours must be in legal ethics, professionalism, bias elimination, substance abuse, or mental illness awareness programs.
